    Main purpose of the role:

    As Workshop Manager, you will lead the daytoday operation of our Workshop handling new vehicle services to one of the biggest OEMs in the UK, ensuring the safe, efficient and highquality processing of vehicles in line with customer, operational and business requirements. Youll provide strong leadership across all workshop activities, driving performance through effective people management, operational control and continuous improvement.

    You will play a key role in promoting a culture centred around Safety, Quality, Productivity and Professional Standards, while supporting the ongoing development of both individuals and departmental performance.

    Role Accountabilities:

    • Lead workshop operations — oversee daily workflow, labour planning and operational priorities
    • Drive safety standards — ensure compliance with H&S, environmental and company policies
    • Maintain vehicle quality — ensure all vehicles meet required standards and customer expectations
    • Develop and lead teams — motivate, coach and support workshop personnel
    • Improve processes — support efficiency, consistency and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Manage reporting — monitor KPIs, maintain accurate records and provide updates to senior management

     Personal Requirements:

    Essential

    • Leadership experience in automotive, workshop or operational settings
    • Strong understanding of vehicle processing and workshop operations
    • Proven ability to manage teams in a fastpaced environment
    • Strong organisational, communication and problemsolving skills
    • Confident using IT systems and operational reporting tools

    Desirable

    • Experience in automotive logistics or vehicle preparation
    • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
    • Understanding of H&S and ISO systems
