Role: Automotive Parts Manager
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
Location: BCA Portbury
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 - 16:00

Main purpose of the role:
We’re looking for an experienced and highly capable Parts Manager to join our leadership team within BCA Vehicle Services. This is a senior management position reporting directly to the Duty Manager of Renault Operations, where you’ll take full responsibility for the parts function across the site.
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring stock levels, stock flow, and stock control are maintained to the highest standard—supporting operational delivery, customer expectations, and commercial performance. This is a key position for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and enjoys leading teams to deliver exceptional operational results. You’ll drive efficiency, uphold quality and compliance standards, and contribute directly to the success of our Renault operation.

Key Duties:
- Lead and develop the parts team while overseeing all daily store operations.
- Manage the quality, storage, handling, and compliance of all Renault parts.
- Maintain full stock control, ensuring accurate records, efficient stock flow, and reduced obsolescence.
- Build and manage key customer and supplier relationships with clear, consistent communication.
- Ensure all health, safety, welfare, and ISO standards (9000:1 and 14000:1) are met and actively promoted.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Proven experience managing automotive parts operations.
- Previous sole responsibility for running a parts department.
- Strong people‑management and customer‑service skills; able to perform well under pressure.
- Confident working to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment and making sound decisions.
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and industry‑specific systems (training available if needed).
- Self‑motivated with strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Able to motivate and lead a team to consistently meet internal and external weekly targets.
