Automotive Colourist (Paint Mix Technician)

We're looking for an experienced Automotive Colourist to join our busy Bodyshop operation at BCA Thurleigh.
Using industry-leading colour-matching technology and manufacturer-approved paint systems, you'll prepare accurate paint mixes and help deliver high-quality vehicle finishes.
This role would suit experienced Colourists, Paint Technicians or Paint Preppers looking to further their career in a fast-paced automotive refurbishment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify vehicle colours, variants and paint finishes.
- Achieve accurate colour matches using the latest technology.
- Mix and prepare paints to manufacturer specifications.
- Support high-quality repairs through precise paint preparation.
- Maintain excellent quality and finish standards.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Previous experience in a Colourist, Paint Mix Technician, Paint Technician or similar automotive paint role would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of colour matching, paint mixing and water-based paint systems
- A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes.
- Comfortable working within a busy and fast-paced Bodyshop environment.
