    Main purpose of the role:
     Within this role you will support the Depot Manager by leading and supporting the administration team, ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to in order to meet departmental targets and objectives, whilst delivering excellent service to the customers and clients.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead daily team briefings, plan resources for absences and peak periods, and motivate the team to manage workloads effectively.
    • Liaising between administrative staff and senior management.
    •  Produce daily operational reports and maintain accurate costing information.
    • Support company partners with documentation and queries
    • Complete financial approvals on time and respond promptly to customer service enquiries.
    • Oversee system issues and IT requests, escalating when needed, while maintaining strong cross‑department relationships and office standards.
    • Conduct performance reviews, training, and development, and manage recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new staff.
     Knowledge and Experience Required:
    • Proven experience in leading and supervising administrative teams.
    •  Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
    • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
    • High level of IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to improve processes, solve problems proactively, and make sound decisions.
    • Professional, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
