Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Wheel & Tyre Refurbishment Processer to join our team at our workshop in Doncaster. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out wheel refurbishment work to HGV vehicles, efficiently and to a high standard. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety, performance, and presentation of our fleet through high-quality wheel and tyre refurbishment.
Reporting to the Head Of Operations (Doncaster VMU), the post holder’s key responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Safely jack up vehicles and support on axle stands to remove wheels.
- Remove and refit tyres from wheel rims with care and precision.
- Identify and record rims or tyres that are damaged beyond repair, including documenting tyre positions and vehicle fitment.
- Communicate effectively with the body shop and workshop supervisor to maintain a steady workflow.
- Occasionally perform wheel refurbishments using industry-standard techniques for the BCAA HGV fleet.
- Carry out wheel station smart repairs when needed.
- Ensure an adequate stock of refurbished wheels is always available.
- Accurately record work carried out on job cards and update vehicle wheel fitment logs.
- Maintain a well-organised, efficient workspace and take initiative whether working solo or as part of a team.
- Proactively identify cosmetic body damage and carry out repairs where needed.

- Hands-on experience in wheel and tyre fitting or refurbishment.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to repair work.
- Strong organisational skills and self-motivation.
- A proactive attitude and clear communication skills.
